A Maryland Inspiration -- Received the Frank Lloyd Wright Award for Outstanding Original Design at the 49th Annual Woodlawn Plantation Needlework Exhibit

Several years ago I attended a sampler exhibit in Baltimore at the Maryland Historical Society. You may be familiar with the book "A Maryland Sampling" by Gloria Seaman Allen, from which the exhibit was based. Although all the samplers were wonderful, there was one in particular that just fascinated me. I always knew I would design a sampler inspired by that beautiful piece.
